After travelling for a while, I am back to Villa de Leyva.
More and more students are coming :-)
Angelica is a brilliant teacher, a wonderful person, and a dear friend. In our 2 weeks in Villa de Leyva, she took us from having absolutely nada in Espanol to having basic conversations with others using the present tense. She is very experienced (7 years!), organized, and comes with thoughtful materials to help you understand and remember. Her lessons are always fun and engaging, and she's an amazing person with many great stories to share so we really enjoyed each and every lesson! Angelica truly understands how English speakers learn Spanish and appreciates where our questions really come from. You will be hard pressed to find a more attentive and patient teacher, because she has the magic ability to know your questions before you ask them, and she's never annoyed to repeat herself (even though we sometimes don't realize it!) Our lessons took place in a rotating selection of the best cafes in town, and a visit to the local vineyard with wine glass in hand. We truly cherished our time in Villa de Leyva thanks to Angelica, and we feel so fortunate to be able to call her our friend.
